Project Summary:
Little is known about UK female veterans’ physical healthcare needs and support preferences. To address this, the CMWR led a research project involving a collaboration with four other organisations with significant expertise in academic research and in providing specialist statutory and charitable healthcare services to veterans: King’s College London (King’s Centre for Military Health Research), the Royal British Legion, the Veterans’ Trauma Network (Imperial College London) and the Defence Medical Welfare Service.
The project findings are available below and will be used to develop and improve care pathways and service delivery for female veterans in the UK.
