Project summary:
This UK-Canada collaboration is exploring the reproductive and mental health needs of women military veterans and former police officers through an online survey (target n=400). The study is currently open and seeking participants until mid-November 2026.
Little is known about the reproductive health needs of women who serve, or have sered, in the UK and Canadian Armed Forces, the Canadian Mounted Police, and UK Police Forces. Questions remain around unmet needs, long-term reproductive and mental health outcomes, and access to care after service. Through this partnership, ARU and The Atlas Institute (Canada) seek to generate evidence that will shape future research, policy, and support.
